Small snack hot dogs for in between.

 

So far, there was only sweet Super Bowl food, which I would like to change with this recipe. Small snack hot dogs are perfect for the upcoming event. They are very easy to prepare and are simply delicious. Above all, it is something different compared to normal hot dogs. The small dogs will taste warm, cold and even the next day.

Whether you choose ketchup, mayo, mustard, fried onions, cucumbers or other, it’s up to you. Enjoy the meal.

Zubereitungszeit 15 Minuten
Kochzeit 15 Minuten
Gesamtzeit 30 Minuten

Zutaten

For the dough:

  • 300 g Flour
  • 1/2 Cube Yeast - 21 g
  • 150 ml Milk - lukewarm
  • 1 Pcs. Egg
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 1 tsp. Sugar
  • 30 g Butter

Others:

  • 1 Glas Mini Wiener Sausages - 30 pieces
  • Pickles in slices
  • Ketchup
  • [amazon link="B01F9E8HUG" title="toasted onions" /]

Zubereitung

Dough:

  1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and mix with the dough hooks at slow speed. Then knead at the highest speed until the dough releases from the bowl (about 8 minutes).

  2. Cover the bowl with a cloth and leave the dough in a warm place for about 30 minutes.

Finishing:

  1. Remove the sausages from the glass and drain well. Place the dough on a floured work surface and divide into 30 portions.

  2. Form the dough portions round and press a little flat. Now put a sausage on each and wrap it with dough.

  3. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, cover with a cloth and let it rest for about 15 minutes.

  4. Bake the whole in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 10 minutes.

  5. Serve the snack hot dogs hot or cold with ketchup, pickles and [amazon link="B01F9E8HUG" title="toasted onions" /]

These Super bowl football cupcakes are simple chocolate cupcakes with a green frosting. This is another recipe for the perfect Super Bowl night. But you can also decorate them well on soccer and have great cupcakes for soccer fans. But now it’s time for Super Bowl 🙂

Super Bowl Snacks

Football Cupcakes

Zutaten

For the dough:

  • 175 g Flour
  • 2 tsp. Baking Powder
  • 25 g Cocoa powder
  • 120 g Butter
  • 120 g Sugar
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 4 Pcs. Egg

For the Frosting:

  • 225 g Cream Cheese
  • 50 g Icing Sugar
  • green Food Coloring

Zubereitung

Cupcakes:

  1. Mix the flour with the baking powder and cocoa in a bowl.

  2. Stir in a second bowl, butter, sugar and salt until creamy. Gradually stir in the eggs.

  3. Finally, stir in the flour. Lay out the troughs (12 pieces) of a muffin tin with [amazon link = "B00TM6WZO2" title = "paper cups" /] and fill in the dough.

  4. Bake in a preheat oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for about 18 minutes, remove and allow to cool.

Frosting:

  1. Mix cream cheese and icing sugar until creamy. Put a little bit of frosting in a small piping bag. Finally, dye the remaining frosting with food coloring.

Finishing:

  1. Fill the green frosting in a piping bag with star spout and spray as a lawn on the cupcakes. With the white frosting pipe a line and number on the lawn.

Football Cookies – Sweet Super Bowl Snack

Football cookies are not just for the Super Bowl.

 

The Football cookies are the first recipe of several, for a perfect Super Bowl night. If you don’t like Football and the Super Bowl, you can use of course the recipes for any other occasion. These cookies are a bit more special and not for every occasion. As you can see in the picture, there are come some great recipes in the next few days. Everything homemade and delicious.

The Super Bowl, the final of the American Football League NFL, takes place for us Central Europeans on the night of 4 to 5 February. The largest single sporting event in the world draws around 800 million viewers in front of the television worldwide. Of course, they are very hungry and that’s the way to start this evening with themed snacks.

 

Football Cookies


Zubereitungszeit 20 Minuten
Kochzeit 1 Stunde
Gesamtzeit 1 Stunde 20 Minuten
Portionen 30 Pieces

Zutaten

For the dough:

  • 100 g Butter - soft
  • 50 g Sugar
  • 1 Pinch Salt
  • 150 g Wheat Flour

For the Icing:

  • 300 g Icing Sugar
  • 30 g Eggwhite
  • 1 dash Lemonjuice

Zubereitung

Dough:

  1. Put the butter, sugar and salt in a bowl and knead with the dough hooks.

  2. Add the flour and knead everything to a dough. Wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

  3. Roll out the dough on a floured work surface and cut out footballs with a cookie cutter (about 3x4 cm). [amazon link = "B00KJ8IRE4" title = "This cookie cutter is a bit bigger" /]

  4. Place the footballs on a baking tray with baking paper and bake in preheated oven at 175°C top/bottom heat for 10-12 minutes.

  5. Remove and allow to cool.

Icing:

  1. Sift the icing sugar, and put about half in a bowl. Put the egg whites and lemon juice in the bowl and mix everything with a mixer.

  2. Gradually add the remaining icing sugar. The mass must be so strong that you can make a fine line without it runs.

  3. Fill approx. 1/2 tbsp icing into a small piping bag and set aside. Dye the rest in brown and fill in about 2 tbsp. also in a small piping bag.

  4. Dilute the remaining icing with water. It should so liquit that it runs flat when you put it on a cookie. Cover the icinig with a damp cloth and set aside.

  5. Make a outside line on the cookie with the brown icing in the piping bag, so that the liquit icing does not run down. Then fill the cookie with the brown liquit icing and leave to dry for about 1-2 hours.

  6. Make the decoration with the icings and allow to dry.

Tagliatelle, fried Brussels sprouts and ham

Tagliatelle + fried Brussels sprouts = winter pasta

 

Fried Brussels sprouts is one of the good things in winter. I just love brussels sprouts, and if it’s roasted or fried it’s double good. That is why it is now quite common to make Brussels sprouts for dinner, such as the fried rice with roasted Brussels sprouts. During the last shopping trip, we even found the purple Brussels sprouts. It tastes a bit nuttier and just looks great.

So what was closer to combine the fresh, homemade Tagliatelle with Brussels sprouts. In addition, some ham, onions and a few herbs, finished is a winter pasta dish. Not difficult and so yummy.

If you want to do the Tagliatelle yourself, you will find the recipe with instructions here. Alternatively you can buy of course some Tagliatelle.

Tagliatelle, fried Brussels sprouts and ham

Zubereitungszeit 10 Minuten
Kochzeit 15 Minuten
Gesamtzeit 25 Minuten
Portionen 2 Portions

Zutaten

  • 250 g Brussels Sprouts
  • 1 Pcs. Onion
  • 1 tbsp. Oil
  • 150 g Ham
  • 50 ml White Wine
  • 100 ml Vegetable Stock
  • 2 Portions Tagliatelle
  • 25 g Cream Cheese
  • Herbs
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Nutmeg

Zubereitung

  1. Clean and slice the Brussels sprouts. Peel the onion and cut into fine cubes.

  2. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the Brussels sprouts vigorously. After about 5-10 minutes he has already got some color, reduce the heat and add the onion cubes and the ham.

  3. Meanwhile cook the tagliatelle in boiling salted water al dente.

  4. Sauté for about 5 more minutes. Now deglaze with white wine and let this reduce.

  5. Then add the vegetable stock and the still hot tagliatelle. Mix everything together.

  6. Finally, add the cream cheese and herbs to taste and season with the spices.

Very easy homemade Tagliatelle.

They stood already a long time on my to do list „Pasta“. What exactly did I not write on to, but I definitely want to make pasta for over a year. At the weekend it was finally time, there was the first variety: homemade Tagliatelle. The right [amazon link=“B01COGM5YQ“ title=“dough sheeter for the Pasta“ /] has also been in the cupboard for a long time, so only one dough had to be made. Such a pasta dough is not difficult, but there are lots of philosophies. Special pasta flour, semolina, olive oil, eggs ……. Everyone makes the dough different, and everyone is somehow right.

So just try it yourself, until you find your taste and the best mixture. For our tagliatelle this means that it has become a dough with flour, semolina, egg and salt. The pasta dough can be made very easily, and even roll out quite easy. The cooking is also very fast with fresh pasta.

So if you prepare the dough the day before, you can quickly make a pasta dish. We should have done this much earlier, because homemade pasta tastes best. This Sunday I have a great winter pasta recipe for you, make a note! I tell you only so much, homemade tagliatelle, Brussels sprouts ….. mmmhhhhh!

Such a [amazon link=“B01COGM5YQ“ title=“dough sheeter for the Pasta“ /] costs not that much and makes the work really easy. the next on my shopping list is a [amazon link=“B01C5N0L8U“ title=“Pasta drying rack“ /]. So it is not so difficult to hang the pasta somewhere in between the making.

Homemade Tagliatelle

Zubereitungszeit 10 Minuten
Kochzeit 20 Minuten
Gesamtzeit 30 Minuten
Portionen 2 Portions

Zutaten

  • 50 g Wheat Flour
  • 50 g Semolina
  • 1 Pcs. Egg
  • 1/3 tsp. Salt

Zubereitung

  1. Put all ingredients in a bowl and mix by hand.

  2. When a firm dough has formed, knead it well on the worktop for a few more minutes.

  3. Wrap the dough in foil and refrigerate for approx. 2 hours.

  4. Make 4 portions from the dough and press them a little flat and long. You should have the width of the pasta machine.

  5. Well floured roll the dough on the largest level by the [amazon link="B01COGM5YQ" title="machine" /]. Repeat this step by step at each level until level 5.

  6. At level 5, roll the dough through twice and then either make noodles with a suitable attachment or cut into strips with the knife.

  7. Spread the noodles on a wooden stick or a [amazon link="B01C5N0L8U" title="Pasta drying rack" /] and do the same with the remaining dough.

  8. When all the noodles are ready, cook them in boiling salt water until al dente.

With the bananabread breakfastbowl, I have a simple and delicious recipe, which provides you with power for the day. The ingredients just have to be mixed in a bowl and your breakfast is ready. You do not have to do it so nice every day. But on the weekend, you can make it look a bit nicer.

Bananabread Breakfastbowl

I always use harder oatmeal and let them soak a little longer. But if you do not have that much time, you can just take tender oatmeal. These require almost no soaking and are softer to chew.

Zutaten

  • 100 g Oatmeal
  • 175 ml Milk
  • 1 tbsp. desiccated Coconut roasted
  • 1 pcs. Banana
  • 25 g Pecans
  • 20 g Raisins
  • Cinnamon ground

Zubereitung

  1. Put the oatmeal and milk in a bowl and mix.

  2. Peel and slice the banana.

  3. Spread banana slices, grated coconut, pecans and raisins on the oatmeal and sprinkle with cinnamon as desired.
