Plums in red wine - Preserved for the whole year

  • 800 g Plums
  • 200 ml Water
  • 200 ml Red Wine
  • 125 g Sugar
  • 2 Pcs. Star Anis
  • 2 Pcs. Cinnamon Stick
  • Zest from 1/2 Lemon


  1. Wash the plums, drain, cut in half and remove the stone .
  2. Boil in a saucepan the water, red wine, sugar, cinnamon, star anise and Lemon Zest.
  3. Fill the plums in the glasses and distribute the broth over it. Pour into each glass a piece of each star anise and cinnamon.
  4. Seal the jars well and boil for 15 minutes in boiling water. Remove and let cool.


Who does not like red wine, can replace him by juice or water.
